Bussaba’s journey into the art of traditional Thai massage began with her certification from the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society in 2015. This achievement marked the foundation of her professional career and her commitment to offering authentic healing practices rooted in centuries of Thai tradition. With passion, dedication, and a vision to share the benefits of massage with others, Bussaba opened Bussaba Massage Khao Lak in 2017 on Chai Hat Bang Niang Road, just a short stroll from the heart of Khao Lak.

The first shop was modest yet welcoming, featuring four massage tables and two lounge chairs for manicures and pedicures. Before opening its doors to the public, the premises were blessed by a Buddhist priest in a traditional purification ritual, ensuring positive energy and harmony for both staff and guests. This spiritual beginning set the tone for the warm, tranquil atmosphere that has since become the hallmark of Bussaba Massage. Word quickly spread, and customers began arriving, drawn not only by the quality of the treatments but also by the genuine hospitality that greeted them.

As demand grew steadily over the next two years, it became clear that the original location could no longer accommodate the increasing number of visitors. In 2019, Bussaba Massage Khao Lak relocated to its current, larger premises, just a few hundred metres away from the original site. The new space allowed for significant expansion, with nine massage tables and five lounge chairs, creating a more spacious and comfortable environment for guests. Alongside traditional Thai massage and spa services, Bussaba introduced additional offerings such as hair braiding, gel nail polish, laundry services, and motor-scooter rentals, making the shop a versatile destination for both relaxation and convenience.

Like many businesses around the world, Bussaba Massage faced challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the difficulties, the team remained resilient, adapting to new circumstances while continuing to provide care and comfort to those who visited. Thanks to this perseverance, the business not only survived but thrived, emerging stronger and more appreciated than ever.

Guests consistently praise the professionalism of the staff, their skillful techniques, and the welcoming friendliness that makes every visit memorable.
